Local Community Partnership Announcement
Muirfield Golf Club and North Rocks Soccer Club are pleased to announce the creation of a ‘Local Community Partnership’ arrangement.
North Rocks Soccer Club is the largest ‘solely sport based’ community organisation in our local area. They have over 900 playing members in around 70 teams across junior and senior age groups that play football in the newly established Sydney Hills Football Association during the winter months.
Muirfield Golf Club and North Rocks Soccer Club share more than being sport based organisations in our local area – they are both over 50 years old, have grown over the years based on the hard work of their volunteers, and are known as family oriented, friendly clubs in their respective sporting domains.
The sponsorship arrangement will provide Muirfield Golf Club with signage at North Rocks Park and shirt sponsorship of both a men’s and women’s senior age teams. North Rocks Soccer Club will have access to the Muirfield Golf Club Club House facilities which they will use to hold several events during 2016. Initially North Rocks Soccer Club will schedule a 2016 Committee Dinner and 2016 Senior Presentation Night at Muirfield Golf Club.
North Rocks Soccer Club will also take up House Membership on behalf of all of their 2016 committee members. The two clubs plan to work together throughout the year on other activities that may be of benefit to the members of each club.
This is an exciting announcement for each Club, and is the first year of a local community partnership that our Clubs jointly plan to grow stronger in the years to come.
