The 2025 RSM Australia Muirfield Open Amateur is due to be held at the club on Sunday June 29th from 7am. The tournament has a long history dating back to the origins of the Muirfield Golf Club Australia, with a ‘track iron’ being donated to the club from the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers (Muirfield, Scotland) as a perpetual trophy for the tournament.
The event is played as an 18-hole stroke event, which is part of the Golf NSW Vardon Trophy, with a Scratch and Nett component. This year sees the event add a member’s Nett event in conjunction, open to male members with a GA of 12 or less.
Members wishing to book into the event are to do so via the office, with payment of entry fees ($35) to be paid when booking in. Visitors wishing to enter the tournament can do so online through the MiTournament site, with payment of the visitor’s entry fee ($65) being due at the time of booking.
A flyer for the tournament can be found here and the CoP for the tournament here.
