23 June 2010. Guy Gibson Dear Guy, The purpose of this letter is to thank the club and in particular yourself, for the wonderful service that was provided to us on our wedding day. Not only we were very lucky with the weather in that it was a beautiful sunny day; but we weie lucky enough to also have been provided with exceptional assistance both in the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. Nothing was left to chance which meant that we could relax and enjoy our wedding day knowing that the detail of the guest~ arriving, photos being taken on the course and all the other matters that come up in connection with a wedding were taken care of by you and your staff. As well, special mention must be made to the Chef for his wonderful attention to detail both before the wedding and on the day. Many of the guests commented on how wonderful the food was and we wanted to give a special mention to him in that regard. Our congratulations also go to the wait staff of both the food and drinks for their excellent service, which was commented on by many of the guests. It actually reminded me that I had not emailed you to say how wonderful Alison and Mick?s engagement party was. I cannot praise La Fourchette and Muirfield Golf Club highly enough. From the first moment my husband and daughter met you and saw the venue, the decision was made. The venue was lovely, the view gorgeous, and you, Lisa were so friendly and accommodating. It was only made better when we ate at the restaurant to try the food: it was delicious, there was a wide choice on the menu, and Chef J-C was very obliging and gave us some good advice. I thoroughly recommend La Fourchette and Muirfield for any function- we had a great day, the staff all looked after us and bent over backwards to make the day special.
